The Intel Atom Developer Program (IADP) includes an authorization mechanism to ensure that an application has been legally purchased or obtained through the App Store. This is a dynamic runtime process that allows an application, at startup time, to determine if the user as well as the current device is authorized to run the application. There is also an initialization step that needs to be completed prior to authorization that sets up communication between the application and the Intel components.

Wrong File Path in AppUP Client

The DirectX function FindMediaFileCch(... ) is fine to launch application in Windows.
However it gets the wrong path result when launch application in Intel AppUp client.

The problem maybe in the function GetModuleFileName( NULL, strExePath, MAX_PATH ); inside the FindMediaFileCch(... ).
It returns the path of executable file of AppUp Client instead of the path of actual application. This will cause reading file
error in DirectX for games.

How to solve this incompatible problem?

Some developers are seeing Oops errors during BETA testing of their applications.
The development team is working hard on understanding why some developers are seeing OOPs errors. Many applications test successfully and do not have this error.

We believe that the OOPs errors are typically packaging issues but we are not ruling out issues with the client. We are looking at what we can do better to help you (better documentation, more descriptive error messages) solve these issues. We appreciate your patience and we should have a final answer on this soon.

ADP_AUTHORIZATION_EXPIRED never trigerd

Hi,
We are using C/C++ SDK. I am testing my applicaitons authorization code. Everything works fine, but If I use ADP_EXPIRED_APPLICATIONID , the
ADP_IsAuthorized fucntion never returns ADP_AUTHORIZATION_EXPIRED.

I signed the apps manually through command prompt and using signing tool.

My apps is an HTML coded apps.

Why is the Adobe AIR SDK support so outdated I can't even use Flash Builder to develop apps for such an old AIR run time. Other then way the support forms not being answered.

permission setup in the installer of Visual Studio 2010

I have created an app using C++ and Visual Studio 2010. The installer need to change the permisson of a subdirectory in the "Program Files" for the app. What is the procedure for that.

So I've seen several people with linker errors, and I've been spending all day trying to figure it out, but to no avail.

I have a mere four linker errors, they are as follows:

There's documentation about the authoritation process? I haven't clear the flow of the process. For example in some documentation I found a "Headless Client": which is the role of this component? It's called during ADP_IsAuthorized()?

How to check if user purchased In App upgrade

Hi everyone
I looked over the internet (maybe not well enough), and I could not find any guide on how to check if user has purchased In App upgrade (and how In App upgrade should be created - I have created another app in dashboard for paid version, but this is not what I want). Is there a simple way to check if user bought an upgrade?

Sorry if this question was asked before, but I could not find any answer.
