Hi Praveen,

Thank you for your query.

Enrollment to the Intel® Atom™ Developer Program is currently free. Generally there is a yearly fee of $99 but this has been waived presently. For the moment you can join the program for free, submit applications, published applications. Once this 'offer' period is over, all developers registered to the program will be sent an email asking them if they wish to continue and then start to pay the yearly $99 if they wish to continue.

Regards
Rooven

+1 Get signed up while it is still free. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved while the market is fresh. It will allow you to learn as the environment evolves and have a great time doing so. Best of luck!

Hi Khan,

At the moment we do not have any information on how long the free enrollment will remain open.
But whenever the charge will become applicable, all developers registered to the IADP will be informed and they will be given the option to continue or to opt-out.

Regards
Rooven

I might add that while free is quite affordable, 99 dollars is not bad either considering the income potential. You can't lose :)

Dmitry,

You raise some good points :) Cheers to a free version of the ATOM Developer program for those supplying only free or open source apps..

Hello,

for the time being the fee applies to developers of free applications, too.
The main reason of the fee is to cover a part of the costs for the whole project.

Best Regards,

Andre B.
