Explore the excellent opportunities for your apps and ideas, offered through the Intel AppUpSM developer program. What exactly do we mean by developer opportunities? Read on for the complete skinny.

The Intel AppUp developer program dictionary (if we had one) would say:

Developer Opportunities:  plural of De-vel-op-er Op-por-tu-ni-ty (Noun)

1. A set of marketing programs that makes it possible to do something.  2. A chance for prizes or promotion.
Within the Intel AppUp developer program there are several marketing programs, chances to win prizes and ways developers and their apps can get promoted. Here are some:

Intel AppUpSM developer program: Accelerator
The marketing program that enables you to get funding to develop a breakthrough app or component is called the Intel AppUp developer program: Accelerator. After two years of funding innovative application concepts, the Intel AppUp(SM) developer program: Accelerator has been end of lifed.

Intel AppUpSM developer challenge
The chance for prizes or promotion is the Intel AppUp developer challenge http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/contest/developerchallenge. Intel AppUpSM developer program: Legends
Back to that definition of opportunities meaning pure promotion, there is Intel AppUp developer program Legends http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/legends.  While most of our programs promote the apps that developers create, this program promotes the developer.  In the Intel AppUp developer program, Legends are innovative people and companies creating innovative apps with commercial appeal with regular contribution to the Intel AppUp developer program community.  We love telling the stories of these superstars. Anyone can become a developer legend—full-time developers, moonlighting pros, hobbyists, enthusiasts, and even students. Do you have what it takes to become a legend? Do you know someone who you would like to nominate? Let us know by dropping an email to appdeveloper@intel.com.

 The Intel AppUpSM program identifier
Another program that helps developers promote their apps themselves with some Intel branding is the Intel AppUp program identifier.
Use the Intel AppUp program identifier to promote the availability of your app in Intel AppUp center storefronts http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/article/onintelappup.

The Intel AppUp program identifier communicates that your application is available for purchase on Intel AppUp center. Use this identifier on online materials like websites, blogs, emails, banner advertisements or even in print materials such as flyers, posters or print advertising. When used online, you can link the Intel AppUp program identifier to your app on appup.com. To find your app’s link, browse appup.com.
The Intel AppUp program identifier is available for download to all developers enrolled in the Intel AppUp developer program. Usage of this identifier must follow the guidelines (available on the download site) at all times. There are five color options for this identifier. Pick one that suits your marketing materials. Here is an example developers Blue Innovations used on their app site: http://bluebirdsapp.com/

If you have used the Intel AppUp program identifier to promote your app, please provide a comment with a link below, so other developers can see how you have promoted your app.

We want you take advantage of all of these developer opportunities to help you bring those great ideas, apps or components to the Intel AppUp center.  To find more details of all programs and opportunities refer to or book mark the Intel AppUp developer program Opportunities page at http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/opportunities.
