One person was even willing to trade in his shades for a Club Mate ;-)

Mirko – one of the organizers - was kind enough to let us on stage to announce the winners – congrats!
On Wednesday we had our MeeGo AppLab also at the Humboldt University which was great fun and had a wonderful getting back to school feeling. The room was packed and even if we did not hand out chocolate (our colleague Paul wasn`t there), we got a lot of questions and interest:
AppUp is able to deal with open source software – from licenses to redistributing the code which is quite unique for an AppStore. Sulamita mentioned this in her presentation about MeeGo, App submission and validation. But first on stage was our Marketing Manager Björn introducing the Intel AppUp developer program:

Afterwards Sulamita had her presentation and shared her profound knowledge about MeeGo and OpenSource. Thanks for being around the next day and helping out with the tablet updates and MeeGo images:

Then Bernie took over the stage with his tool demos and of course there were also some slides:

We had great fun in Berlin, thanks to all participants and kudos to the organizers: awesome job guys – you rock!

I'm so sad I couldn't visit Akademy/Desktop Summit this year, I really missed the people and the atmosphere. And It is exactly this year that people got some nice ExoPCs for MeeGo development... luck is really not on my side :(
Sorry you missed it, but we will have other events. Just follow our event page or the official EMEA twitter account https://twitter.com/Develop4AppUpEU and we can welcome you at another AppLab :-)
Great work Monika :)
I felt the need to give something back and adapted my quickpen application to optimally fit the ExoPC: https://github.com/tstaerk/quickpen/commit/c9beb39fbcd0fa92afbd7d63f502c... Quickpen stores your handwriting from the touchscreen to PNG files. Looking forward to making an app from it :)
Thank you Thorsten and giving back! It was a team effort and we had really fun being in Berlin and showing you guys what we are doing!
You quickpen application looks great and thanks for making an app from it!
If you need any help or support in the submission and/or validation process, please let me know.
