Phoenix and Chandler area developers - make sure to join us this Thursday night (February 3) at 5:30PM for a free training event in your area!
MeeGo provides the ability for developers to rapidly create a variety of experiences across many computing device types—which presents a great opportunity for developers to make money with their applications. This session is the place to learn about the new MeeGo open source operating system, view the newest MeeGo-based devices and for developers to see what all the buzz is about!
Attendees will learn about the benefits of enrolling in the Intel AppUp developer program and developing for MeeGo and our other available operating systems and runtimes (Windows C/C++, Adobe AIR, Java, .NET). Qualified developers at the event will even receive a MeeGo convertible netbook so that they can develop apps starting right away.
Register today to join us on Thursday, February 3 at 5:30pm (seating for the event will be limited to registered attendees). We’re excited to bring our Intel AppUp Application Lab training series to the new Gangplank location in downtown Chandler.
We hope to see you at the event!

Could you please record the training class and post a link to the Meego class.
It would be easyer for people to watch a Web cast of the class.
Hi Troy, this particular session will not be videotaped in full - however, later this year we are considering doing a webcast pilot that would be available for on-demand viewing. We'll post information on this blog and in the event forum when those webcasts do go live!
Troy if there are techniques or pieces of training you would like to see let us know. We will be producing some video demos & tutorials in a few weeks.
This was a nice night with plenty of info for an intro to the MeeGo platform. I must have initially misread the email invite as I thought there was only a chance at receiving one of these netbooks only to be totally surprised on the day of the event to receive an update from Gina stating that we'd pretty much get a SDP netbook by attending the event.
Hurray for misreading things!
It was nice to meet some of the Intel staff and other local developers.
Thanks Intel, Gangplank, and San Tan Brewery!
We really enjoyed having you at the event, Chris! Thanks for coming and make sure to check out the MeeGo Hack Night at Gangplank next Wednesday at 6PM. :)
Is there going to be a webcast of the event? I missed it but i would love to see what went down?
