Lets face it, the world is now multitasking, multi-threaded, and multi-cpu. As a participating developer of Netbooks, Tablets, and SmartPhone systems, my take on the current technologies is that one must take a parallel development path with what we really have to work with in stages as follows:
1) Hardware Platform, it is; a.) ARM Cortex A-9, and b.) Atom D520
2) Software Platforms, either a.) Ubunti 2.6.x with either Meego 1.2, or Android 2.2 software stacks, and or b.) Windows7.
Development tools determine what we do first, because of the robustness of the products, that means Intel Atom Multi-CPU, and Windows7 across all targeted technology for the next six months!
