Adobe and Intel Application Lab was a success!

We had a blast at the Adobe and Intel Application Lab in San Francisco on July 21! There were approximately 140 attendees who came down for pizza, beer and lots of technical discussion – and another 40 users watched via our live webcast. The event was just the beginning of new programs to drive AIR application momentum for Intel AppUp Center, and began with an announcement of the availability of the Adobe AIR SDK.

Speakers at the event included Eric Wittman, Danielle Deibler & David Jared from Adobe and Peter Biddle & Scott Apeland from Intel. Our open lab saw a lot of traffic during and after the event, with all 20 machines being full at most times. At the conclusion of the event, 10 netbooks and 10 copies of Flash Builder 4 were given away to 20 lucky attendees.

It was great to speak with all the excited developers who were anxious to hear our announcement about the Intel AppUp Center now supporting Adobe AIR apps. See all the details on our Adobe AIR introduction page.
