MeeGo and Intel AppUp Momentum Grows as Industry Voices Support

Today, Intel hosted the Intel® Atom™ Software Summit at Computex 2010 in Taiwan. There, we talked about recent developments and announcements fueling the momentum for MeeGo* and Intel AppUpSM Center. It’s been less than six months since MeeGo and Intel AppUp were introduced, and they both have already gained significant industry traction. Here at Computex, we’ve shown off some further advancements, and we’ve seen a flood of ecosystem support for MeeGo and Intel AppUp.

Here’s an overview of those advancements. Key highlights include:
• MeeGo v1.0 core software platform and netbook user experience demos (released last week to developers)
• Announcement of MeeGo v1.0-based products, including netbooks, tablets and other devices by multiple operating system vendors (OSVs).
• MeeGo support by major service telecommunications companies including Orange, Telecom Italia and Telefonica.

Ladies and gentleman...start your compilers...sell through the AppUp Store...let's get paid...best of luck to those that need it. Remember, the best machines in the world are useless without good and great software!
