Intel AppUp(SM) Center Beta for Moblin v2.1 now available and supporting 27 European countries.

The Intel AppUp(SM) Center Beta for Moblin™v2.1-based netbooks is now available at www.intelappup.com. Moblin v2.1 based applications submitted and validated through the Intel® Atom™ Developer Program are now available to consumers in the United States and Canada. Future updates to the Intel AppUp Center will support the MeeGo software platform forming the channel to market Intel-based MeeGo applications for devices in a variety of categories beyond netbooks such as smartphones, consumer electronics and more.

Starting March 31, 2010, the Intel AppUp Center Beta (Windows* & Moblin v2.1) will also be available in 27 European countries. This expansion will offer the opportunity for software developers in the Intel Atom Developer Program to reach consumers in one of the top markets for netbooks worldwide. The additional countries expected to be available for developers to sell applications are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
