The Intel AppUp Center Beta officially launched January 7, 2010 at CES
With great excitement I would like to announce that the Intel AppUp Center Beta is now available for download at www.intelappup.com. This netbook application store could not have been made available without the hard work and dedication of our Intel® Atom™ Developer Program members. The Intel AppUp Center opened with strong assortment of applications and a large pipeline of applications to come, thanks to the developers and members of the Intel Atom Developer Program. In the near future, look for exciting special promotions from the Intel Atom Developer Program to help ensure that your applications get the great visibility they deserve.
Thank you for jumping on board with an application store for netbooks – we’re looking forward to a great ride!
Maryann Iannitti, Manager Intel Atom Developer Program

I must say I am impressed with the UI design. Overall great Beta. My only suggestion would be a warning message that is displayed when an unsupported OS attempts to launch it (example: Vista), and perhaps error logging. Keep up the excellent work.
The Intel new marketing strategies to increase it retention level in the mass are the great one.
