Submission/Validation process
The first step in submitting your applications and components is joining the program. Once you have joined the program, you will be able to submit applications and components using “My Dashboard”, which will walk you through by providing all the required information. You can save and edit your submission up until the point where you submit for validation.
During validation, we check that your application or component meets all the requirements of the program's validation guidelines. We let you know when it passes validation, or if there are issues to keep it from being published.

Developer Resources
There are numerous resources available to learn about developing for the Intel AppUpSM Developer Program. Get familiar with common issues in the FAQs. Sample applications with implementation guides will walk you through creating an application from start to finish. The Component Catalog brings you pre-built components that help you complete applications faster.
Software Development Kit
The Intel AppUp™ Software Development Kit (SDK) provides value added APIs to the applications to work with the Intel AppUpSM Developer Program processes and infrastructure. The SDK is available for Windows* Native (C/C++), .NET*, Java* and MeeGo* and provides authorization, crash reporting & debugging capabilities. Additional capabilities like In-App Unlocking, In-App Upgrade and Consumer Identity Service are available in the Windows Native SDK. Though integrating the SDK is optional for all apps and may not be done for open source apps, developers are strongly encouraged to use it within applications to prevent unauthorized downloads of their applications outside of AppUp center.
Applications
Users purchase applications from the Intel App store and other app stores. You can develop applications from scratch or integrate components from the Component Catalog and share revenue with the component developer. Manage your applications in your dashboard.
Components
Developers downloads components from the Intel Component Catalog. As a component developer, you set your revenue share percentage an application developer pays you for using your component. As an application developer, you may integrate components and negotiate the revenue share price with the component developer.
