The Intel AppUp™ SDK Plug-in 1.1.5 Beta for Eclipse* software provides the following features:
- The Dashboard allows developers to monitor their applications and components for the Intel AppUp(SM) developer program from within the Eclipse environment.
- The Developer Resources option allows developers to access the Intel AppUp(SM) developer program community from within the Eclipse environment.
- Project Development features make it easier for developers using Eclipse to develop applications for the Intel AppUp(SM) center. These features allows developers to easily:
- Create a new Java project that includes Intel AppUp™ code in source file and build settings in project file
- Integrate the Intel AppUp™ software Authorization code into an existing Java application using the Intel AppUp™ Software Development Wizard or context menu items
- Start and stop the Intel AppUp™ Software Debugger for application debugging and testing using Start and Stop buttons
What's New
This plug-in release contains the following feature over the 1.1 Beta release:
- Support for the Intel AppUp™ Software Debugger 1.1.2
System Requirements
This Plug-in is tested on the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows XP* Home 32-bit with SP3 (English Version)
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional 32-bit with SP3 (English Version)
- Microsoft Windows 7* Home Basic 32-bit (English Version)
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (English Version)
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (English Version)
- Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit (English Version)
Supported Development Environment:
- Eclipse Galileo 3.5.2, Eclipse Classic 3.5.2 and 3.6, and Eclipse for Java Developer 3.6
- 4 MBs available hard drive space
- Java SE Development Kit 6 (or later) already installed
- Intel AppUp™ Software Development Kit 1.1.2 for Java already installed
Installation Notes
To Install:
- Before installation, log in to Windows OS using a the same account used to run Eclipse.
- Save the plug-in zip file adp-java-eclipse-plugin-v1.1.zip to a folder/directory.
- Launch Eclipse and go to Help->Install New Software...
- Click Add... to open the Add Site dialog screen.
- Click Archive... to open the Repository archive screen.
- Navigate to the folder/directory where the plug-in zip file was saved in step 2.
- Select adp-java-eclipse-plugin-v1.1.zip and click Open.
- Enter ADP Plug-in as the Name and click OK.
- Expand Intel AppUp™ SDK Plug-in and select the checkbox for Intel AppUp™ SDK Plug-in 1.1 Beta ....
- Click Next. Eclipse calculates requirements and dependencies needed for installation, then presents the Install Details screen.
- Select the Intel AppUp™ SDK Plug-in 1.1 Beta ... and click Finish.
- Click OK when Eclipse asks if it is okay to install unsigned content.
- Eclipse installs the plug-in and asks permission to restart the Eclipse environment. Click OK.
- Eclipse restarts and lists IntelAppUp™ as a menu item on the top of the main window.
Known Limitations
- The plug-in Dashboard screen shows a summary of My Dashboard on the Intel AppUp(SM) developer program portal. The portal view shows greater detail, such as multiple organizations, etc.
