How to Join the Program

Getting a Intel AppUpSM Developer Program ID and registering your organization allows Intel to pay you when developers use your components and consumers buy your applications.

It lists the information you need to both get an ID and register your organization with the Intel AppUpSM Developer Program. Get an ID

Getting an ID is free and simple. This lets you download components from the Developer Catalog and enables you to participate in the discussion forums.

To register:

  1. Go to Intel AppUpSM Developer Program
  2. Click Join in the upper-right corner.
  3. Fill in the form.
    If you already have a login ID on another Intel site, such as the Intel® Software Network or Intel® Software Partner Program, you can use that ID, but Intel AppUpSM Developer Program site will request you to accept the program terms and conditions and you must provide and confirm your email address.
  4. Once you get an ID, you can download the developer SDKs, register your organization with the Intel AppUpSM Developer Program, or update your profile on the site.

Register Your Organization

When you register your organization the Intel AppUpSM Developer Program, you can sell your applications and earn revenue when consumers purchase them.

To register your organization:

  1. Log in to your Intel AppUpSM Developer Program account.
  2. Click My Dashboard in the top right of the page.
  3. Now change your dashboard view to Organizations. You can change the dashboard view by using the select box in the left corner next to the wordsMy Dashboard.
  4. Fill in the new organization form
  5.    Under Create A New Organization, enter the name of your organization and click Go.
  6.    Proceed through the next several pages. You can follow your progress through the steps across the top of the page.

    These pages collect important information about your organization.

    • Organization collects general information about the organization, such as your logo.
    • PayPal and Tax Info collects payment information and explains the Program’s tax policy. Depending in what location your organization resides (United States, Portugal, Japan, etc.), you may need to file certain forms with the program and Internal Revenue Service (I.R.S.) to be exempt from tax withholdings. This page links you to the appropriate forms.
    • Legal Agreement describes the agreement between you and the Program. You must accept this agreement to join the Program.
    • Invite Members allows you to add other Program users to your organization. See How to Manage Your Organizations.

  7.    Click Done to complete the process.
